Grace was amazing. She was full of energy and information! A Livewire at 81! Very helpful to us and we thank her so much. Room/beds were tidied etc each day. Fresh towels each day. We learnt the train routes etc Strathfield station was just across the road. 4 of 5 days we caught them instead of using the car. Warning though 2 hr parking in the streets every where. So be prepared.
Disgusting filthy rooms. Rude obnoxious old lady. Bedbugs mould cockroaches. Windowless stinky rooms of torment. Absolutely avoid this place at all costs. YUCK!!
Careful with this one! Booked online and stayed for one night. Claimed damages through the online booking even though we only stayed from 8pm to 3am to leave to continue our road trip and left the room immaculate (not to mention that the room was filthy when we got there). We were charged $240 for no reason tried to call them and the lady said to talk to the booking website which we did until it was disputed by her! Just be super careful booking a room here might aswell book somewhere nicer for the $500+ you’ll be charged!!
Grace, the host, was delightful and always tries her best to help. I can understand some of the bad reviews because I myself was trying my best to empathize with a rather elderly, although very enthusiastic, lady coping with the demanding task of keeping the premises tidy and clean. In spite of this, I did not have any bad experiences. Our room and bathroom were clean enough and the kitchenette was replenished. No problems taking hot showers either for me and my wife.
