We had the priveledge of having dinner at Sthrathcona Park Lodge (SPL) May after a long bike ride. We intended to have a bevi on the deck and head home. Curious to know what was on the menu, we asked Ethan, our server and he brought Chef Nyx to our table. She kindly described all of the available dishes that were available that evening. We were immediately interested and happy we stayed. Nyx and Ethan treated us to a generous sample of everything that was being served on the buffet. On a day trip by motorcycle I stopped at the office to inquire if they served lunch. After a very friendly greeting I was personally escorted to the restaurant and seated by the absolutely delightful Eva. Shortly after ordering, Eva had to confess they were transitioning to the summer à la carte menu and some of the ingredients in what I’d ordered were not available yet. After visiting Myra Falls, we made the mistake of stopping here for dinner. The dining room looks like a forgotten school cafeteria from decades ago, and the food somehow managed to be even more depressing. The fish was overcooked and dry, the salads were utterly tasteless, and the beets were among the worst we've ever been served. Charging $42 per person for food of this quality is outrageous. This was a complete waste of money and easily the worst meal of our trip. Do yourself a favour and skip this place entirely.

Wir haben zwei Nächte in einem Cabin verbracht: toller Blick auf den See, sehr gut ausgestattet und totale Ruhe. Das Essen im Gemeinschaftshaus ist einfach, viel Gemüse und Salat, sehr lecker und alles selbst gekocht! WLAN hatten wir im Cabin und im Aufenthaltsraum. Einen Fernseher braucht man bei diesem Blick wirklich nicht! Die Anlage ist groß, aber es verteilt sich gut. Ein kleines Naturparadies.
