Be mindful on booking patients and giving them the right information. We were in this location (Sherwood Park) 2 months ago for my daughter’s immunization. The person who booked my daughter for her next immunization didn’t inform me that her next appt will be in Fort Saskatchewan. I was expecting it was in the same locatin. Made an appointment for a covid shot. First to show up with two senior couples were told to wait in the waiting room, we would be fetched. 4 couples with kids came in after and stood in line butting in front of the rest of us and the nurse who said she'd come ignored us. Being around kids is terrible for immunocompromised people as they pick up everything from school, daycare etc. Not good enough nurses! The one who gave me my shot was 20/20 but your triage has much to be desired. 0/20.
Staff always put you on hold when you call, that's if they even answer, very pushy on the phone and in person.
UPDATE: It’s so funny since writing this review, the stratchona admin team has been messing with my husbands referral. AHS says it was entered into his file January 12th (around the time this review was first posted) yet the Montrose clinic has not received ANYTHING. In fact, I had to call them today and ask them to contact dr orks receptionist to see what the holdup is. NOW THE STORY IS that a referral is on the way NEXT WEEK because of course dr Ork is on vacation. (Yet yesterday he wasn’t and his receptionist was speaking... read more
