Took car in to TIRECRAFT Stratford for MVI. Was told it needed $1500 worth of repairs. OK. Agree to that. Come back the next day to pick the car up, and am told that now there are no reverse lights, which are needed for inspection, but somehow were missed when I was originally told what needed to be done to pass inspection. OH, by the way, it needs a wiring harness to get the reverse lights working and that is going to be anywhere from $4000 - $6000, plus labor.
