Happy to see that there are changes coming to the West Broad Area. Wondering if it would be possible for the town to add a Town Of Stratford sign on the railroad trestle, as is on Main Street? It would sure add a touch of brightness to an otherwise dull area.
the town of Stratford is no longer about morality. You see people on here upset about taxes on incompetent workers, people flabbergasted because they're taxes are raises and they are losing there job and who is in charge of there Facebook page manipulates everyone by only putting pictures when it looks nice and everyone is smiling. Hats OFF to the Folks at The DPW..Called because I was given some incorrect info on Yard Waste pickup as far as the date was concerned. They Sent a Truck within 40 minutes to pick up my yard waste and rectify the situation. GREAT JOB.THANKS TO ALL INVOLVED!!
I am so disgusted with this towns response to our streets. I’ve lived on Broad for 22 years, it has never ONCE been paved (except for a small area in front of St James). My street is literally falling apart. Holes are patched after months of myself and neighbors complaining (and probably people who get flats), they last 6-8 weeks, at best, and then open up yet again. You do get a lot for your tax money in Stratford compared to other towns - beach, garbage, recycling, etc., but their snow plowing is the worst. My taxes are $8,000/yr and this is what I get for it in the winter....
