8 months ago I had not seen an optimistic in years. It turns out I could hardly see out of one eye. I Googled the right place then made an app. Parking was very difficult. I was already nervous cause I could hardly see. I had to really think thin to squeeze into a spot. Receptionist was friendly and the tests were awful cause I knew I didn’t do well. I have been a patient here for years and they have always been very pleasant to deal with. Recently I have been disabled by a series of chronic illnesses that make life very challenging for me. They went out of their way to accommodate me and make a few changes to their regular processes so that I could still come in and have an eye exam, and pick out glasses, without triggering my illnesses. Really disappointed. Had my initial appointment for eye exam scheduled at 6:30pm — I was running a bit behind as I was dropping my mom from her own appointment. I received a call from the receptionist at 6:36 reminding me of my appointment and I said, “yes I am very sorry running just a bit behind and will be there in 5 mins” and she responded with “okay, thank you, bye.” I arrived at 6:38 and as I entered the office, the receptionist told me that, unfortunately, my “appointment was cancelled” because I was late.
