I was very impressed when visiting. We were considering a family member’s care and have been leery about it. I’ve visited 5 facilities. Stratford was by far the best. The Seniors seemed to be having the time of their lives! I was very impressed with their care, the facility, and especially their activities! Wow! I am giving my visit 5 Stars. And this Stratford in OP was tops!
At first, I thought my mom was exaggerating about the poor care here. After flying down to help and seeing things myself, I realized she was not wrong at all… I want to acknowledge the few nurses who genuinely cared and went beyond the basic level of care for my grandmother. They truly deserve recognition. However, unfortunately, there were several staff members who appeared careless, distracted, and inattentive. Unfortunately, this was my dad's last stop. He had been to 3 other places before we found Stratford Commons and my only regret was that this was not my first choice for him. Very friendly and caring staff. Thank you for his short time there.
Have a family member at Stratford Commons Memory Care for about a year. Everyone in the staff that I have interacted with has been knowledgeable and helpful. Early on I witnessed two staff members communicate with a resident. The genuine care and obvious affection they showed is a big reason to select Stratford. While on a tour a resident approached me and requested help in locating her husband. I was unsure what say. I have nothing bad to say about Stratford Commons Memory Care. The staff is always kind and the facilities are clean. Kristi Layson runs a great ship.
