Took my car for an airbag light. He spent 2 days on it, calling me to ask if I wanted to pay more as he needed to go further into the car and it would get pricey and quite labour intensive. I said no. I took the car home, took off an interior piece and found out the airbag wire came loose so I clicked it in and guess what? Airbag light gone. This guy was prepared to make me pay over 1000 as he "looked for the fault" that took me 5 minutes. Impossible to find trustworthy mechanics.
I got quoted $600 to remove an after market car alarm I called central taranaki automotive where they quoted me $163 so they tried to rip me off $437 and a few days without my car not impressed
