Thank you for commenting on this company. I will not be going to the interview for a job at Black and Decker. Some people are just stumbling blocks on your way to your blessings be encouraged my brother and my sister.

I APPLIED FOR A JOB ON THURSDAY APRIL 16, 2014, GOT HIRED ON. THE SHIFT I APPLIED FOR WAS 6:30AM TO 6:30PM. WHEN I COME IN TO START THE JOBE THE NEXT MORNING SUDDENLY MY HRS CHANGED FROM THE AM SHIFT TO THE PM SHIFT AND I DID'NT FIND OUT UNTIL AFTER I STARTED. IV'E HEARD A LOT OF NASTY THINGS ABOUT THIS LADY AMINDA. I EVEN SAW A LADY THERE FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION THAT COULD'NT EVEN READ THE APPLICATION, I'M WILLINGTO BET SHE GOT HIRED WHERE SHE WANTED TO BE. I SPECIFICALLY STATED WHAT SHIFT I WANTED.

I went there a little over three weeks ago, and did the full paper work (not just the entrance application). And after an hour and half of finishing ALL the paper work for a job at Black and Decker through them.. They explained to me that they would have to run a background check. Cool with that as well, Well I kept checking back for two weeks (BG checks take a while) only to find out somehow i'm not on for that job list. This company is unprofessional and will make you take a big pay cut in order to not let you receive unemployment. They will not do their hardest to find u a permanent job esp after you are laid off... beware!
