For a company that claims to manage stratas, they were quite happy to totally ignore the strata of the building their head office is located in when they decided to extend their office into a common area without consultation.
We were in the managemet rights business for 20 years and dealt with many strata management companies. Strata care (brisbane office) was by far the least competent. Unfortunately they retain staff that not only make mistakes but then double down and refuse to own those mistakes, employing intimidatory tactics such as threats of increased fees for service. Did Stratacare get body Corp permission to do major renovation works at their premises??
I bought an apartment just over 3 years ago and had the misfortune that the building was managed by this company. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have had a few maintenance issues with the building and every one with Stratacare has felt like an uphill battle taking months at a time for simple things like tree lopping. Our property suffered further damage due to the delays caused.
