Best value accommodation in Townsville. Although an older motel, the rooms are clean and fresh. Great location across from the water. BBQ close by and you can use the table and chairs out the front to eat. Manager, Robyn very helpful and friendly. Free off street parking. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Older and basic,room rates, but clean, serviceable and a classic view of the bay. Right across the road from the water, pubs, cafes, restaurants galore are in reach. Just about anything you could imagine. It is popular and bustles on a weekend. If you want a relaxing, casual stay The Strand is for you. Best you book accommodation early!
This motel is a great place to stay if your visiting Townsville for a couple nights. Its self contained and close to everything. The staff are lovely and go above and beyond. Their consideration for their guests is a credit to them. The rooms are equipped with kitchenware for basic meals. i will mention that there was no shampoo included in the bathroom amenities.
