Honest review. Overhyped and well overpriced.
It was a warm Evening & lots of us were eating outside -the ambience and service was lovely - the food was perfection , absolutely the best meal I’ve eaten in I can’t remember when and my friend from NY said it had awakened her joy in food again
Mussel was cooked perfectly, butter was flavorful but a bit salty
Really disappointing experience at Straker’s. It is not worth the price point and certainly doesn’t come with the service expected at this level. My friend let our server know when we ordered that he was allergic to nuts. On ordering dessert, we weren’t told that one of our choices contained hazelnuts. My friend was eating away when the server came over and informed him - with no sense of urgency, empathy!
