I was taken to straight Richmond by ambulance last night and the care I received was amazing. The nurses and doctor was so informative, compassionate, professional. Even late at night they did everything so efficiently. The ER was wonderful from nurses, doctor, x-ray tech, blood work tech. Thank you all so much for your level of care. Thank u nurse for checking on me so often and for level of overall care.

The Emergency Room is often closed. Please improve this, and at the very minimum keep the online open/closed information up-to-date.

I have been going to the Strait Richmond Hospital for blood work, urine analysis, and chest X-rays since 2021. I have always been well treated. Today, I had to contact the hospital because I received short notice of blood and urine testing that needed to be done in less than two weeks from the date of an appointment I was given to meet my urologist in Lower Sackville for my annual cystoscopy, following bladder cancer surgery in 2013. Was there on Saturday when I got there too young nurses indicated to me that there was no doctor I was bleeding from my hand from being cut with an axe I said can you please rebandage me and give me some painkillers their response was here are some bandages you can do it yourself and we can't give out drugs.
