I had Strait Marine install a dripless shaft seal. I supplied the seal. Needles to say I was surprised when I was charged $2000 + to do this work. I was told removing the old coupling took a long time due to corrosion.
Very disorganized boat yard, rude and unprofessional management. They didn’t honour our scheduled and booked put in date and caused us to miss scheduled events due to this. Their slings were absolutely filthy, they marked up and stained the gel coat and they never pressure washed the boat before putting it on the stands. By far the worst haul out/ yard experience I’ve had in over a decade.
