I contacted straight line To perform a pre-purchase inspection on a piece of equipment I was buying. They sent out one of their technicians, Morgan. He was extremely good and diligent with his inspection gave me a rundown of all of his findings and Photos. The office staff other Morgan was really good as well. Price was very reasonable. Overall, very happy with this company and the people I worked with and would recommend.

I bought a shop truck from the owner, Jeremy, who said it had been his wife’s daily driver. I asked if he could drive it 100 km to my home (since I live alone) to confirm it was roadworthy. He refused and said I was insulting the truck by asking. Turns out it likely wouldn’t have made it anyway. The day after I registered it, I drove it 70 km without a load and the working assumption is that the rear differential seized — which caused the driveshaft to shear off the yoke and destroyed the bell housing while I was driving.
