This shop is not trustworthy for anything more than a flat tire. I brought my truck in and asked for an estimate. The next day, they called me up and said the work was already done and charged me $750. I had no choice but to pay. Two months later I brought another car in and asked for an estimate. Beware, Strafford Tire is predatory. They charged us $600 for a $200-$300 part. And yes, I understand upcharges (but then, you see people like Dana at Garrison City Auto, who charges what the part *actually* costs – if it weren’t for true blues like Dana, all faith in this industry would be lost). But the real kicker with Strafford Tire is that they went ahead and did the work without confirming with us first.
