My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed living at Stradbroke Tower. The building managers, Megan and Theo, are amazing people and true professionals. The building itself is very well maintained, the residents make up a friendly community with frequent get-togethers and we always felt safe and secure.
Peaceful hideaway in Kangaroo Point. Great access to everything.
In regards to flying a drone (RPA) in the area mentioned above (as at 1/10/16), yes Peter you may have just been 30m away from both the Macley and Stradbroke towers – but you cannot have been more than 30m away from the villas located in front of the towers. These villas are still classified as buildings and therefore, the drone MUST BE 30m away from them. Basically I was flying my drone on the oval that is SHARED by Stradbroke Towers and Macley Towers and their building manager ( I think ) comes out and she said "Don't fly the your drone around my building. I understand that there are laws in place. However I wasn't flying within 30 Meters of Stradbroke and I was flying bellow two hundred metres.
