September school holidays myself and family stayed at Great Escape, Amity Point. We had a lovely holiday at a house that was costed appropriately for what it was. So much so I was quite willing to book for next year. When I spoke to the office they informed me the cost had doubled. There is no way the house was worth this additional cost. It is not near amenities or popular beaches. I doubt the toilet is legal as it has no ventilation. No dishwasher, nor modern conveniences. The back fence is broken. We booked accomodation through Stradbroke Island coastal homes and when we arrived it was smaller than we thought and we couldn’t fit. I called Mel and she changed us into a bigger property within minutes even though she was on the mainland. We ended up have a lovely stay in the new place. Not many property managers would have provided this service. We were very happy and will definitely book through them again.
An absolutely spectacular experience if you are looking for a wholesome cabin getaway:) we stayed in Belles on Barlow and couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience and service. We got to bring our pups and they were unbelievably accommodating ensuring we had the best yard for them to run around in! The views were spectacular and even saw some dolphins down at the dock:) We are already planning our trip back and recruiting friends to join!!! Definitely a must stay:)
Phenomenal location down at Belles on Barlow. We don't travel unless it's with our two dogs. The place was cozy and felt like a home away from home! We are already planning our next trip! Thanks guys!
