I you charge for the parmesan and garlic to put on your pizza you’re not a pizzeria. That’s so absurd. Would you charge customers for salt and pepper? The service here is absolutely horrendous. When we arrived they told us we would have a table in 35 minutes. They seated us an hour later. I understand that you’re busy and it’s hard to estimate how long a group will stay. While it is good… the wait is too long. And let’s be frank, it’s not Roman style at all. I doubt Thomas has been to Rome. It’s a better tasting Freschetta. In fact, I’d be interested in getting a Freschetta and comparing it head to head.
We waited about 1.5 hours for a table, which set the tone for a slower evening. The starters were excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the pizzas took a very long time to arrive, and the first one was burnt. We later learned that the second pizza had also been burnt and was being remade. Come for the excellent pizza. The meatballs and focaccia bread are musts. And if you enjoy a Negroni cocktail, it’s top notch!
