Marvin and June Stowell, along with friends, family and neighbors, began their foodservice business in the Activity Center at the Walworth County Fair in 1964. Their first catered dinner was the Walworth County Holstein Association's annual banquet November 3, 1971. Word of mouth passed along news of Marvin and June's good food at a fair price. Stowell's recently catered our wedding of 120 people, and unanimously the food was highly reviewed! The beef tips in particular were a huge favorite. They were communicative and were able to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions. We would definitely recommend Stowell's for your wedding or other large gathering.
We used Stowells for our wedding a few weeks ago and the food was amazing. Brenda was amazing to work with and was always answering any questions we had. Our guests are still commenting on how good the food was. I will definitely recommend them.
Attended a wedding last night with this catering company. All silverware, cutlery, plates, cups, etc was plastic. I don’t mind a cost-effective wedding, this wasn’t the issue. After finishing dinner our plates were being picked up as we finished our last bites. Later on, cups with water were collected. My cup was sitting right in front of me and I was actively drinking it. The staff was very efficient and pleasant. They did a great job with the food preparation and presentation! The shrimp platter was plentiful and very well prepared. The stuffed mushrooms were a real hit. The barbecued was tasty and tender. Thank you for your attention....
