The salesman stated that the boat was a fresh water boat prior to my buying it. It turns out the boat was a salt water boat. Buyer beware!
I purchased a dry docked boat from Storm King last year that was guaranteed to be seaworthy and without any major issues. On the face of it it was a great looking boat with low hours that appeared to be well maintained. Within 24hrs of purchasing after sailing the boat home over 6hrs down the Hudson River, I noticed a sizable water leak coming through the transom assembly from what I now know to be a common issue and failure point for all bravo 3 outdrives at the steering pin. Purchased a used boat from them. Sales man Fred very nice guy and very helpful. The boat is in great condition. Prices are reasonable. He gave me a good price. I had 1 problem with it and Fred took care of that problem ASAP.
