I approached Storm for a free estimate to treat some damp as stipulated on their website - They insisted that my ‘type’ of enquiry would cost £75 as in their experience it would be ‘time wasting’. Unhelpful, misleading and unprofessional.

I just bought my first house in the Summer and I needed someone to sort out damp proofing for me as soon as possible. Steve was brilliant, popped down as soon as he could and even quoted me less than another company who I would have had to wait 3 months for. He kept me in the loop on everything he was doing. We had some visible rising damp that we were keen to get sorted as soon as possible. Steve came out really promptly to see the issue, told us in detail what the work would involve and was really great at working around our schedule to get the work booked in as soon as possible. Steve and John were really professional, friendly and did a great job of completing the work quickly to a standard we were really pleased with and kept things really clean and tidy whilst the work was ongoing.

I contacted Storm for a third opinion on potential damp in flat that I've just bought in Cardiff, as the previous two companies quoted for conflicting work that I felt wasn't necessary. Steve arrived the next day and assessed all areas in the flat and confirmed that there was nothing that needed remedial damp work at all.
