I am extremely satisfied and pleased with the wonderful job that the Newtown store provides. The people are always extremely pleasant, helpful and always take the time to help you with your individual requests. I live in Newtown also, and moved ALL my prescriptions from CVS, whose always too busy to help you, to Stop and Shop Pharmacy. If you have a prescription that they do not have in stock, they make every attempt to provide you with your prescription the next day. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. The staff is very unfriendly and is not concerned about the health and welfare of its customers. My wife had a prescription that they were unable to fill and rather than call to let anyone know they just pushed it aside and let it sit there. When we returned to pick up the prescription it was too late to contact our doctors office regarding the problem and she was forced to endure extreme pain overnight, had they let us know promptly of the problem then there would have been no ... read more
What a joke. I went in to get some fruit and some eggs, and all I got was flying gnats, a 5 year old swearing at me in spanish, and a scratch on my driver side door when I got back to my car. Prices good, but the apples look like they had been picked off the side of Andys Pizza parking lot. People are friendly, but the eggs were only 10 or 11 to a dozen because of being mishandled and cracked.
