The food here is really good - good enough that we come back regularly - especially their noodle soups (a Thai coconut and a mushroom one - loaded with veggies and flavor). We come back *despite* always being a little terrified of the servers/(owner?) who have been frequently grumpy and rude over the last 7 years. Its bizarre! Also wish they were open for more than just lunch M-F, delish food.
Best food we’ve eaten in Tahoe area. It’s a lil cafe inside a lil grocery store. We stopped in for lunch on a bike ride. The Thai udon soup and chocolate chip cookies are my favs so far. The salads in the fridge and homemade bread look amazing. Really sweet, helpful service. We ate outside at shaded tables. Will def be back.
