We had never been to the Wellsboro area before, and we did not know what to expect, but our stay at Stoney Fork Inn was perfect. It’s a short drive into Wellsboro town about 10 minutes and the location was fabulous for going to the state parks to view the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. I would note that the walls are quite thin, if that’s something that you may care about! We arrived in the evening, and it seemed like there may be quiet hours because you could hear conversations from a nearby room. Outside, it smelled like chamomile from all the surrounding nature, which was wonderful. Wi-Fi information is included in the instructions and is also posted on a wall in the dining area. Stony Fork was a beautiful and clean place to stay. We rented the Vista View Apt and were very happy there. The owners sent us texts with places to eat, hiking areas, etc. The kitchen was stocked with basic cooking supplies, a regular stove with oven and a full size refrigerator. After checking in we headed downstairs to shoot some pool and if needed, there were washers and dryers we could have used as well. I enjoyed our stay at this lovely two bedroom unit. It’s quiet and comfy. The fire pit outside is a plus. Ample parking and close to town and trails. Will stay here if I return to the area!
