If you have something really basic, you might be somewhat OK here. I’ve had some awful experiences at this hospital. It’s a bit corrupt and sketchy. If you have something that needs serious attention, and you can, go to the real Stonybrook Hospital in Stonybrook. I have received poor care and misdiagnosis from this ER on multiple occasions.
This is not about the facility as I’ve never been there. I’m far from there. This is about the person who took my call named Tammy. She is amazing. She went out of her way to help me even though Im Traveling through the area and am not a patient there. The world needs more nice people like Tammy!! Thank you!
