Ive been with them for 2 years now. When my son needs a sick visit they are unable to take him in! On top of that their receptionist are absolutely rude. Time to find a new pediatrician and complain to our insurance about them.
Stonybrook pediatric services on east end have good downhill after COVID. I needed prescription for my son and I called (placed on hold of course) and after waiting 20 min I hung up and then called again and someone told me it is ready to pick up. I drove extra to pick up the prescription and the person at the front desk was “it is not ready” and “not sure who told me it was ready because that is not something they do”. Horrible place my wife was very mistreated as an employee at this facility. Race was a big part of it and I promise you on that. When you work here and leave after they have it out for you they make sure to carry it over to your children. They have canceled everyone of my children’s appointments and took it upon themselves to reschedule it and not say anything. Why does Stonybrook even have pediatric offices?? You can NEVER get an appointment for a sick visit. You will never see the same pediatrician twice. Any time you call you will be transferred to at least 3 people, hung up on and then redirected and have to retell your story to a very sassy person. And then they’ll ask who your main doctor is and claim they can’t move forward in the system without that info meanwhile has ANYONE seen the same pediatrician twice?? I absolutely love my children’s doctor, but what does it matter if I can never get an appointment when they’re sick.
