Stayed at Nobby Duck Hollow. A big wasp nest was on the pool deck, and the ***bed sheets were unwashed with blood stains**. Very disappointing.
We stayed at Hilltop Bearadise Let me tell you about this place we were on a girls trip and when we arrived the place had not been cleaned there were cob webs everywhere there were spiders in the ceiling vent above the bed. There were cenaptides in the floor alive. All the rooms had dust on tv. Windows was dirty. Left over crumbs on the kitchen floor. Also the driveway is hard to get in and out from. Highly do not recommend. If A/C goes out, they are in no rush to have it fixed and will tell you A/C is a luxury and not a necessity while you have a small child in a hundred degree cabin in the middle of July.
Our family just spent time at the stony brook cabins "The Grand Orchard Lodge" this June the week end of Juneteenth 2026. This cabin had more than enough space for our family and friends totaling 34 ppl. It was well equiped with all the basics items we needed. The staff did responded in a timely matter when we did have any problem that arise. There were some items that was not working we had a few outlet plugs near the stove that was not working. I booked the Emerald & Evergreen cabin (7 day stay) specifically for the amenities such as the pool, theater (tiny flat screen, not theater sized, and lost remote that we found on day 4), game room & washer/dryer. Had to call maintenance to fix dryer on day 3 (3 cycles of 50 minutes no heat, (maintenance came and repaired on day 4). We did NOT get to use the pool at all!
