We rented Old Glory for 4 days. We definitely enjoyed our stay. It is very spacious and accommodated our group of 6 adults and a toddler very well. The ammenities were clean and in working order. We parked 3 vehicles comfortably in the driveway. The staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. It is a great location if you want to be away from the action. 25 min avg drive to Gatlinburg parking garage. My husband and I just stayed in the cerenity studio cabin for our 10 year anniversary. It was very quiet and beautiful. The cabin was easy to find. There were other cabins right next to it, but it still felt very private with the trees. We were called and texted before and all throughout the stay to make sure everything was okay with the cabin. WORST experience to date! My husband and I traveled to Gatlinburg this past weekend (Labor Day); we've never been to the area. We travel often and have rented cabins in other states with little to no issue. However, our experience with Stony Brook (Cozy Bear Hideaway) was awful. • Smell – Mold/Mildew/Smoke – very stale and irritating allergens, made it difficult to even stay inside • Jacuzzi tub – black grit/dirt coming out of faucet with water; loud squealing noise in pipes • Hot Tub – green slime in tub, odd chemical smell... read more
Mountain Soul captures the heart and soul and spirit of the Smoky Mountains. The view of the Smokies from the house and the vibes on the back porch are the treasures I will take home. The house was clean, well organized, and had all amenities we needed to keep our family comfortable and well fed for the week. I guess the best review I can give is, “We will come back to Mountain Soul.”
I would like to start off by saying Rhonda is an actual gem and is wonderful to speak with. The Scenic Solitude cabin was great, clean, had a private backyard and just overall felt very private (I am very particular about this lol). The road is extremely quiet and peaceful, and the backyard view is gorgeous.
