One of my favorite places to go now.
Last 10 miles took 45 minutes to get to resort rooms were a half a mile from the main lobby and you couldn't park anywhere close to your room
It is right on the lake. It feels very private & secluded. The amenities are fabulous. The rooms are well appointed, nice lodge at check in, roomy bar/lounge area, great activities, fabulous pool, boat ramp, fishing dock & swim up dock & restaurant. A few things to consider: if you have mobility issues, this property is probably not for you. Also, it is not close to any shows, restaurants, etc... I'd say plan on enjoying activities & your time on the property
This resort is just starting out as a sell and reopen. They have a few struggles as they are getting their feet under them, but those are mainly minor. The property is gorgeous, the staff extremely accommodating and it is calm and quiet. We had dinner at the restaurant this evening and it was outstanding. Dan the chef knows his way around food and our server Alisha D. was so sweet and helpful. She did everything she could to make our dinner awesome.
