I used Stonewall Kitchen Basil Pesto sauce in a pasta salad that I took to a friend’s BBQ yesterday. I had tasted the sauce before adding it to the pasta. It was quite vinegary and there must have been some other herb in it as the basil seemed lost. But I had to use it - it was a statutory holiday and I was sure I wouldn’t easily find pesto sauce anywhere that day. Very cool! 8.9/10 Cheddar Bacon Egg and Cheese on a Croissant. Coffee is slight. Certified Quasi-Stacking Mack. BANG!!!!!! Artisanal soaps and jams and so on and so forth. If I was 40 I would be losing my mind. They had free sampling stations, GRAB WITH TONGS. They had a $40 lobster breakfast sandwich which I will need to try if I revisit this place, and when I am a man of greater financial affluence.
We had SO much fun at the headquarters. Great shopping and some really great deals in the clearance center. They even offered free shipping. Highly recommend it if you are a fan.
I usually rave about Stonewall Kitchen and their products, but they sure blundered by offering their Organic Vermont Coffee Whole Bean Coffee in a 16 oz. bag. ‘Dark. A big, bold blend with notes of dark caramel and spice’, had none of that and while brewing, there was no welcome aroma filling the kitchen space. Day two I added several more scoops of beans without adding any additional water. It improved little and clearly, not worth another purchase.
