Over budget, poor management I don't like to leave reviews of a company unless it's a complimentary review but I think you need to know our experience with Stonewall Construction Services in Burlington, NC. Our county needed a general contractor to build a new fire station. Stonewall was the low bidder and after speaking with Mike Davis and Paul White, they gave us the impression that they were competent. Bad business practices Mike Davis and Barry Lowe are deceptive and bad businessmen. Stay away from this company. They were over budget and went past the construction timeline. They tried to get more money out of our company for no reason. We had no change orders, yet, they tried to tell us they had to make changes to our project without our approval. So far, they haven't been able to win the lawsuit they have against us. We won't use them again.
over budget and past deadline Don't waste your time with this company. Several people I know including myself have been ripped off by these guys. Their quotes are not accurate and their constructions is shotty at best. We won't use them again. (Edited February 16, 2015)
