Stone's Tavern serves very good fried chicken on Wed, Fri and Sat from 5-9pm. Stone's is an historic Hoosier tavern located in the hometown of one of the late President Richard Nixon's relatives (his grandmother, I believe). It offers an ambiance not unlike a European pub. Many locals partake in the good food and spirits offered there and are perfectly amenable to visitors.
