They fixed our bent and torn propeller fast. Hit a submerged deadhead entering Nanaimo harbor. Great guys fair price. By far the best boatyard we have been in.
We had a great experience with Stones Boatyard. They did an outstanding job helping us coordinate getting our boat hauled out for sandblasting and painting, and made what could have been a complicated process feel easy. Mitch and Andrew both went the extra mile to help us keep everything on schedule and ensure the work was completed in a timely manner. I just finished a haul out and work at stones and have an absolutely great experience. All the guys in the yard and in the offices were friendly helpful and I’m very happy with the pricing for the work I had done. I will be sure and go back next time.
Always a good experience. Everyone is pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.
I can’t say anything about the shipyard as I haven’t used their services. However, I have been to the store a number of times and I am consistently disappointed with the customer service by one employee who shall remain nameless. How about a greeting? An offer of help? He just stares at a computer and closes up early. At least the closing hours have been changed on the door since I complained about what will hopefully be my last experience in there. Too bad.
