Clean boat yard. Bathrooms in the yard. Laundry facilities in the yard.
We were very uncomfortable at Stone’s boatyard having stayed a couple of nights during a recent haul out. The outside crew lacked any understanding of customer service. Many were arrogant and appeared to want to be anywhere but there. We experienced smoking, swearing and a total lack of caring. We paid for tarp rental but only had a partial tarp which was shared with the boat in front of us. We had a fuel pump failure while underway, resulting in an emergency docking at the Nanaimo Yacht Club. Katherine got us hooked up to the boatyard, and they had a tech out to help us within just a couple of hours. Michael was wonderful and made sure that we were safe and good to go. We are very grateful to the staff and technical support at Stones Marina and Boatyard for all their help and support.
Had to haul the boat and get a few things done - had a good experience with this business. Mitch & the boatyard crew were efficient and helpful, Daniel - thank you for your expertise with the dinghy repairs, James - super helpful with chandlery items, and then there's Rob, who (along with his crew) went above & beyond to keep me, the customer happy!
