This was a great place to stay to explore the Banff/Canmore area. We could quickly get to Banff, and it was nice to stay out of the crowds. Canmore is a cute town with great restaurants and shops too! I only have 4 stars for room because there was only 1 closet and no dressers in our 2 bedroom unit. Most of us were living out of suitcases for 6 days. Probably not a deal break we for anyone, but something to be aware of. We did enjoy the pool, hot tub, sauna, views and easy parking!
We originally booked our vacation in Banff for the week, but after a terrible first night at a Banff resort, we left to find new accommodations. Thankfully, we decided to try Canmore and found Stoneridge. We had a wonderful stay at Stoneridge, and we absolutely loved Canmore! The Stoneridge rooms are modern and spacious, and a million times nicer than our first resort. Stoneridge has plenty of underground parking, and we liked the location and the view of the mountains from our room. We'd definitely stay here again!
Staff were aggressive with me and my family 10 minutes before closing the faciltites. One banged on the sauna door and was agressive, scaring my daughters, then threw our things off the pool bench and being generally ignorant, rude and aggressive. Completely unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable.
