Unfortunately, just one week after closing a mortgage with Stoneham Bank, the mortgage got sold to one of the worst bank in the country. We would not mind if Stoneham would be the customer facing bank but we now need to deal with call centers and automated services rather than people. It’s not clear to us why we would pay more to support local business and community if they just sell the mortgage anyhow. Could have gone with the big banks in the first place and save some pct points on the loan. We hope other local businesses... read more
Carol Nadeau is the Best! Helped my husband and I with our 1st time buying a home back in 2012...she was so helpful and patient with us and helping us get everything together and rhe best rate... Just a few months ago she helped us refinance our mortgage and dropped our rate a whole point! I wouldn't recommend any other bank!
