My in-laws started out in assisted care in 2018 and after my father-in-law passed away in the spring of 2020 mother- in-law has is a resident in their memory care unit (EGIS). Since she entered their EGIS unit, she is much more engaged in the world around her. She went from focusing on only her hands and talking to them, to focusing on people and activities around her.
