I’m building and had Stone with Character in my list to contact for selections, but after today’s experience I will absolutely not be calling them. One of your vehicles driving this morning along Roe Highway, intentionally swerved right in front of my motorbike, dangerously close and then braked heavily for no reason in a 100kmh zone, and then swerved back and forth across the road like an idiot. I like to support local businesses and to that end chose to go with this company. I read the reviews and was happy I would be dealing with a reliable team. In most aspects I was not disappointed but sadly the communication from them regarding the timeframe for my job was woeful. With an initial expected wait time of 10 - 14 days from measure to installation of my benchtops, (this being communicated to us verbally by John at our first meeting) I planned the kitchen renovation around this timeframe adding 7 days as indicated o... read more
