We had a great time, the staff was friendly, the place was beautiful, good food. 🍷 Although it was rainy & foggy, it was beautiful. I can only imagine how beautiful it is when it is sunny & clear. Lots of good photo spots. And if you like back road riding, it’s great.

We visited Stone mountain today.the ride up was very interesting.we couldn't imagine what we would find at the top of that mountain.we were very impressed,from the moment you walk in Carter greeted us.we felt right at home.walk out on the deck to the amazing views.The one man band(Pat) made it even better.i spoke with Deanna the owner.she was very pleasant.its nice to see the owners on site making it all happen.and of course the wine was awesome..very nice afternoon at Stone mountain.we will be back... Wonderful place and staff, wines are excellent—well worth the visit.
You can't beat the view. The road up is a little intimidating at first but after you have done it once it's not bad. The wine is top notch and I would highly recommend a visit if in the Charlottesville area.
