Visiting family in the area we made the trek up to the winery. Definitely beautiful scenery but was very disappointed that half of there stock was sold out. We were told that it needed to be brought up from below. After spending a couple hours here they were bringing it up as we were leaving. Although for the most part they were friendly besides asking half our party to move from a table because of reservations to put a reserved sign on the table that was almost 2 hours from the current time. My first trek to Stone Mountain yesterday and it was simply amazing! The views are spectacular and worth the drive itself from DC, and the Cab Franc is soooo tasty (from another winery due to the high demand for wine). The Cab Sav is their own wine and perfectly paired with cheese. The best part is the forthcoming Petit Verdot which we were able to sample though it’s not quite ready yet— and I cannot wait!!!! Beautiful scenery! The staff are super friendly and we also had the delight of meeting their boxers as well who joined in wedding festivities! Amazing memories all around. ❤️
