I had a lovely room, the Grain Room. The bed was comfortable and sheets soft. Two comments: the room had a bleach smell that was quite irritating at first. It either wore off or I got used to it. I know bleach is the best sanitizer so I’m just giving this as a heads up. Second - the stairs going upstairs are very steep and not very deep. It was hard to lug bags up and down the stairs.
Hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
Great location, friendly staff, very unique place, secured bike shed is a nice touch. The beds and pillows could definitely be replaced, not the most comfortable stay.
Stayed at Stone Mill for two nights for my wife's 50th birthday. Absolutely loved it! We stayed in the Buffalo Bill Suite. The suite was quite large and was very clean on arrival. Had all the amenities we needed and then some! We loved the suite so much we are going to come back with our three children because the bunkhouse is perfect for kids, with three beds and their own private area. The hotel is perfectly located in Lanesboro for anything you want to do! Annie (owner) is terrific. You can't go wrong staying here!
This is a definite! We’ve stayed here for the last 7 years and it’s always been great. Annie, the new owner has made sure everyone receives the same high level of service that the previous owners did. We just left there and we are going back in a month with a larger group!! Well done Stone Mill Suites!!
