The cuisine of door county can be less than desirable. There are many very overrated establishments which gouge tourists. After spending a week driving up and down the peninsula this was a delightful surprise. I’d probably rate it a 4/5, but after deciding not to wait an hour at the Italian restaurant across the water but then returning the following night for one of the worst dining experiences in the area, this was a breathe of fresh air. Walleye fingers were so good that we got another order and coupled them with the brussels sprouts for our meal. Lightly batttered and flash fried, it melted in our mouths. Cannot overstate how good it was. And the sprouts were perfect. Not too sweet, not oily, just crispy and delicious. Would definitely go back!
Beautiful place, but the food was highly disappointing. I have never left a restaurant review but this place was so bad. Our steak and burger were cooked well done when asked for medium. The steak special was grey, covered in blue cheese, and had no flavor. There’s body wash instead of hand soap. The waitress forgot my drink and our green beans were so crunchy we couldn’t hear the music. Also do not expect anything fast or hot.
Great location on the waterfront in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Walleye bites, soup, burgers, sandwiches, home made chips... all been delicious. Great bar with non-alcoholic cocktail options. We go here often, it's a great lunch and dinner option in Sturgeon Bay.
