We just finished a 3 day stay while attending Boots and Hearts, it was close enough to the venue to make it easy. Upon arrival check-in was easy and straight forward, the rooms were clean and decent. During our stay, the staff were friendly when we saw them, the breakfast was good had different options including toast, bagels, eggs, cereal and oatmeal and an assortment of fruit, muffins, cookies etc and then some beverage choices (milk, juice, coffee etc) maybe adding a protein option would be good. Extremely friendly at check in, got to our room it is a bit dated but it seems they are in the process of updating some of the rooms. The room itself was super clean and our bed was very comfortable. My only suggestions would be to add a meat protein to the breakfast and maybe something for those with dietary restrictions such as Celiac disease. We will definitely book there again.

BEDBUGS! Guests Beware... Stayed at Stonegate Inn July 31, August 1 and checked out Sunday August 2. Stayed in Room 208. My sister called me on my 5 hour drive home from Orillia upset as she noticed bed bug bites on her neck, arm, face and hand late Sunday evening. My son and I stayed at the Stonegate Inn on Friday night, my sister and I stayed on Saturday night. My sister had a HORRIBLE reaction to the bed bug bites, just awful welts and red and so painful, my son and I luckily aren't as bad. Called the hotel to notify them... read more
