Great place, amazing views and super dark night skies!!
I made a reservation on the phone. I gave her my email so that I could get a confirmation in print. I paid on the phone. A few days later I had never received an email so I tried calling. I called about 4 times and left a message every time. Someone at the inn finally called me back saying that it’s their winter time and not in the office all the time. We stayed in a King Bungalow here on a trip to Bryce Canyon. The little cabin was adorable. Beautiful pine paneling, wood beamed ceilings, a terrific shower/soaker tub combo. The bed was comfy and inviting after a long day of hiking. Best of all was the spectacular dark sky - I felt like I was in a planetarium with stars twinkling all around. Great views, quiet, clean, comfy bed! Amazing star gazing. We went on a vacation to Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon, and the Stone Canyon Inn treehouse was by far the best lodging we stayed at between all 3 National Parks. I would definitely come back here.
We stayed in a King room and were very happy with it. Large room with plenty of space. There was a fridge, microwave, and enough plates all if you want to eat in your room. A couple of patio chairs and a small table, so you can relax outside and look for the Milky Way at night. Quiet location and everything in Tropic is just a mile away. We were glad we decided to stay here. Also, it was very easy to unload our car and get things in the room.
