The food was undeniably tasty, but the portions were a bit small versus other Asian/Korean restaurants I’ve been to. The vibe is “different” - not too many tables but definitely a homey feeling. The server who I am assuming is also the owner is very nice and welcoming. Highly recommend the stone pot and spicy chicken ramen with dumplings.
Really great experience. Had the ramen and it was excellent. Unassuming building that opens into a really pleasant dining room. The remote ordering system is a bit different but honestly is super convenient. You should pop in next time you're at MadTree!
The restaurant is a bit spartan in the interior. The stone bowls were very good. Our server showed us the correct way to stir and let the veg and rice to continuecto cook in the extremely hot stone bowls. This not only continued to cook the ingredients, but the vegetables also became sweeter. While I am an omnivore, i really prefer meat with my main meals. I’m not one to leave reviews, but I was SO impressed with this place!! The owner is so hospitable and you can so obviously tell how hard of a worker he is. He was cooking & serving on his own and STILL took the time to teach my friend & I how to use the stone bowls. Not to mention, the food was ASTOUNDING. I can’t wait to share this place with people I know! Thank you for such a great experience!!
