We went on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasnt very busy. Waitress was great, but she was also working the bar. Got seated promptly, drinks and appetizers came out quickly. Food took quite a while to come out. Waitress asked us if we wanted dessert, not realizing we still hadnt gotten our food. Beef and cheddar sandwich was very dry and skimpy on the onions and mushrooms. Cuban also was dry, neither had much sauce. Asked for more for both, and they were better. I used to live in the area and always loved Stone Arch. The atmosphere, food, beer, and service were consistently great. I moved away years ago, but when I visited in February 2024, I brought my boyfriend, who had never been to Wisconsin before, and we had an amazing experience. He loved the beer cheese-smothered burger, the cheese curds, the beer, and what we jokingly called the “Midwest nice” service.
