Beautiful blend of so many eras of history. The kids “giant(s)” quests were fun and gave the children something to do while parents gawked. Recommend for all ages. Also the St. John the Baptist church next door has some lovely ancient art and writings in the walls inside.
Not to be missed!! Excellent place to stop over on a long journey. Interesting and restful
Stunning moated fortified manor house that has somehow survived the centuries intact. A real gem and something quite unique.
This place is wickedly cool. So unique compared to there castles . Put this on your must see list.
