Overpriced products and shipping fees. There’s no insurance for pet meds, so they make sure to charge top dollar to their customers. There’s such a limited number of compounding pharmacies, that there are no other options. If there were, I’d buy from someone else.
They were out of stock on my cat's eye prescription. I have been waiting over 4 weeks....still not in stock.
My pet's prescription seems to exhibit reduced efficacy the closer that I get to the bottom of the tube. I have mentioned this before and have been advised that this has never been addressed before. Yet, consistently, as I near the end of the tube, the effects of the medication are noticeably reduced.
We have been dealing with Stokes Pharmacy since January 2024. They started out great! We received reminders, they were efficient and friendly with fast shipping. The last six months, since about June 2025, it seems like we have been dealing with a different company. They can't seem to find refills even though they have been called in, and the turnaround in shipping and handling is noticeable.
