Just like any other VA clinic, staffing has horrible service.
My uncle had a stroke which paralyzed the left side of his body. I, his niece, am his power of attorney and primary caretaker outside of working Mon-Fri which we have assistance with through insurance. I took the day off work for scheduled appointments for him, the first being his social worker Deoline Thomas. Not only did she no call no show for our appointment, she did not respond to multiple messages asking whether she was available for this appointment when I called the VA to find out what was going on. We have had great help and service from this VA clinic.
Came into office to file a claim and one of the clerk giving me attitude because she does not know me but she knows some one that do not like me discussing me with other workers it makes wonder if she has asscess to my file to give out to whom she please that want to know that information and wonder what is kept private that was sad day experience. I wish on nobody
