I have been a phlebotomist for over 28 years . I took my mother for a lab draw. They called her name to go back . Sat her down and asked her what arm she would like to use . Phlebotomist never verified her first and last name, her date of birth. She then drew the blood and throw the tubes on the table never Inverting them5 to 8 times .
