Rebecca, our server was incredible. Friendly, warm and a super helpful server. The food, pork chop, muscles, corn ice cream, coffee....you cant go wrong. Hats off to the chef and professional servers!!! Well done, loved it.
The 4 stars is simply due to pricing. The food and service is phenomenal. But if you want to spend NYC pricing in Stockton NJ, go right ahead. You can also go down the road to Tavern 519 and have the same exceptional dining experience with food and service for 40% less. Same goes for many of the restaurants in the area. Trust me, I have eaten everywhere from Michelin rated restaurants to dive bars, and the prices here do not warrant for the area, and comparable to other places in the area.
PRICE OVERGAUGE ALERT! First, I will say the service and the food/drinks were phenomenal! Atmosphere was amazing at the outside bar! Ascetics were beautiful! BUT the PRICES!!!! Insane!!! $20 for and old fashioned and even more unbelievable $19 for a house glass of Sauvignon blanc! Food was delicious but also overpriced. We had the crab cavatelli and the gnocchi, which I highly recommend, but $35 for a very small portion of pasta with a little crab meat is insane. I’m sorry, I know this review seems good and bad.
